The Best Nicki Minaj Albums of All Time
Nicki Minaj has definitely made an immeasurable contribution to music. Here are some of her best albums.
Nicki has certainly made a name for herself as one of the best female rappers and one of the best rappers in general. And while she is often featured in articles for all the wrong reasons, no one can deny her talent and impact. She has definitely become a very prominent woman in the music industry and has inspired other successful black female artists like Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B.
Nicki is a true representation of what it means to be a working woman in a male-dominated industry, and she has inspired millions of people around the world, particularly women. But despite all of that, most people haven’t heard some of her best albums. To remedy that, here is a list of some of her best albums.
Pink Friday: Roman Reload
Released just after her debut album in 2013, this pop album had more hardcore bars and featured commercial rap. With this album, she showed the world that she could hold her own among the best names in the industry, like Eminem and Kanye West. Some found this album extremely controversial, and she was the subject of a lot of hate and criticism, but this controversy was exactly what formed her incredibly dedicated fanbases.
Pink Friday
Pink Friday was Nicki Minaj’s debut album, and to say it was a huge success would be an understatement. It featured some iconic bops such as “Moment 4 Life” and “Did It On ‘Em”, and these are still being remixed and reused to this day. Rapping through the eyes of another character wasn’t a popular theme when this album came out, so it was nothing short of groundbreaking to see her dressed up as a barbie but rapping as if she was a homosexual man.
Pinkprint
Released in 2014, this album is often swept under the rug because it didn’t feature a lot of pop beats or cutting rap parts, but this album was one of Nicki’s most unique ones. You see a much more vulnerable side of Nicki, and the album even features some ballad songs like “Pills ‘n Potions” and “Bead of Lies.” However, there are a few iconic tracks on the album, like “Anaconda.”
