Ariana Grande’s Albums Ranked from Worst to Best

Ariana Grande isn’t just known for her iconic ponytail and whistle notes, but she has released some of the best music albums since her debut in 2013. Almost all of her studio albums have broken multiple records worldwide, but what exactly are her best albums? Here are all her albums ranked best to worst.

6. My Everything

Even though this album was released in 2014 and was Ariana’s second album, it wasn’t that well-liked by the audience. The album almost feels like it is filled with disposable filler songs that are neither memorable nor striking. Of course, the songs are danceable, but the repetitive lyrics and EDM-style music aren’t for everyone.

5. Yours Truly

While this was her debut album, it was a lot more fun and unique than her second album. No one can deny that the tracks weren’t as sophisticated as her more recent albums, and some of the tracks do fall through. The overall album was much better written and produced as compared to her second album.

4. Positions

Positions is one of Ariana’s most recent albums, but there are quite a few tracks that follow the same style of music and lyrics, which makes the album feel repetitive and boring. However, there are some iconic bops on the album, like “34+35” and “POV,” which make the album worth listening to.

3. Thank you, Next

This is probably Ariana’s most popular and commercially successful album, and the title track with the same name as the album got Ariana her first two number-one singles on the Billboard 100. While she gave her best vocal performance on this album, the album still sounds a little too safe for her—especially when compared with her other bolder tracks.

2. Dangerous Woman

This pop album is probably the one that put Ariana on the map as a successful artist. She lures you into a false sense of security with her opening tack, but soon, you are hit with banger after banger. And while the production on the tracks is astounding, and there is nothing really disappointing about the album, the last album on this list has just aged better.

1. Sweetener

Sweetener is unlike any other album that Ariana has produced. It is experimental, unique, and intricate, yet so strange. The whole album is completely different from her traditional sexy sound and instead focuses on jazzy zounds and breathy vocals.
